Artist Statement

In 1906, young Marc Chagall failed the entrance examination to the St. Petersburg Academy of Art and soon moved abroad. Some 75 years later, I graduated from the same school, and then immigrated to the US.

For the past 20 years I've built my carrier as an illustrator with national and international clients. I've been fortunate to work for the biggest corporations and magazines in the US and abroad, producing artwork for advertising campaigns, corporate brochures and annual reports.

In each artwork, from a simple icon design or a logo to a complex multilayered corporate mural, I combine creativity and analytical thinking with an intelligent hand. I am particularly adept at expressing complex, multifaceted messages through distinctive, bold illustrations.
